Checks and steps
- Record the printer brand and complete model, including every suffix.
- Check the actual Windows driver name, not only the displayed printer name.
- Install the driver that matches the complete model and preserve the correct port.
- Set the real label size, orientation and gap or black-mark sensing in the driver.
- Select the same printer and media size in BarTender, calibrate the printer and test one real label.
- Print three to five labels and confirm that the output does not drift.
Scope and verification
If the result is still wrong, record the BarTender version, full printer model, driver name, connection type and direction of the offset. “Printing is inaccurate” is not enough evidence to diagnose the cause.
