- Calibrate the printer/encoder with the actual tag inlay and media.
- Encode a small batch with known test values.
- Read every test tag with the on-site reader and record success rate and distance.
- Define how failed tags are voided, reprinted and recorded.
Scope and verification
Do not use a normal paper-label test as evidence that RFID encoding is ready for production.
